  Dr Patrick Dodds CEO and Founder   Patrick works full-time for Hexigone and Honorary Research Fellow within the College of Engineering, Swansea University. He read Chemistry for his first degree and subsequently worked within environmental chemistry and pharmaceutical science before specialising in corrosion and coatings. He holds an MRes in Steel Technology and an EngD in Materials Engineering. His research has been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at leading international conferences, including invited lectures at the European Coating Technology Conference and the 10M Scanning Techniques Congress. In addition, he was a finalist in 2015 and a winner in 2017, in an international innovation competition, one of only 50 teams selected from over 5000 global entries.

  Dr Gerry Ronan CEng FlnstP-    Director of Commercialisation, Swansea University   Gerry is Managing Director of Swansea Innovations Ltd and Director of Commercialisation for Swansea University. Prior to his current position Gerry held several senior management positions in the private sector. He has been responsible for many successful commercialisation projects, including taking a University start-up, developing it into an investable proposition trading profitably across 24 countries before selling the company in 2011 -a similar journey is envisaged for this project.

Director of Commercialisation, Swansea University

Gerry is Managing Director of Swansea Innovations Ltd and Director of Commercialisation for Swansea University. Prior to his current position Gerry held several senior management positions in the private sector. He has been responsible for many successful commercialisation projects, including taking a University start-up, developing it into an investable proposition trading profitably across 24 countries before selling the company in 2011 -a similar journey is envisaged for this project.

  Mr Owen Sennit   Mr. Owen Sennitt serves as the Chairman of Wales Environmental Limited. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Comply Serve Limited. Mr. Sennitt serves as Non-Executive Director of Mediary Limited. Previously, he served as an Investment Director at Chord Capital. Mr. Sennitt was an Investment Director at Wales Fund Managers Limited and Excelerate Technology Ltd. At Wales Fund Managers, he was responsible for 12 investments including Atraverda Ltd, where Mr. Sennitt worked alongside Chord Capital. He was an Investment Director at 3i Group Plc in the Bristol office where Mr. Sennitt managed over 25 investments, ranging in size from a £150,000 food manufacturing start-up to a £75 million airline management buyout. At Bank of Scotland, he was a Director in Integrated Finance where Mr. Sennitt led the investments into Charterhouse Print Management and Quartix. He served as Investment Director of WestBridge Fund Managers Limited. He has worked with Deloitte Corporate Finance. Mr. Sennitt has over 20 years experience as a corporate finance Advisor and then as a venture capitalist in the Welsh market. He has led investment of over £46 million of venture capital in over thirty deals with the vast majority being Welsh based businesses. He was on the Boards of various investments of Wales Fund Managers including Excelerate Technology and Nightingale Care Beds. Mr. Sennitt is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Accountancy with honors from Loughborough University.
