How Intelli-ion® Works
Intelli-ion® is a fine organic powder that uses patented ion-exchange technology.
The inhibitors are stored in a latent micro-reservoir system and only release when corrosive ions are detected, providing smart, on-demand inhibition.
Low specific gravity (~1.35) delivers more usable volume per unit weight and effective protection at low loadings.
Can be formulated into all coatings chemistries, as well as post-added to solvent-based coatings.

Intelli-ion® promotes lone-pair bonding between the primer and the substrate, as well as between the primer and subsequent coating layers.
Transforming weaker hydrogen bonds into stronger covalent bonds, resulting in significantly improved adhesion.
