Our Roots
Hexigone was founded on the belief that the coatings industry deserves corrosion-inhibition technologies that are effective, safe, and forward-thinking. Our origins lie in academic research at Swansea University’s Corrosion Group, where our founder, Dr Patrick Dodds, discovered a new “smart-release” protection mechanism capable of outperforming legacy systems.
Global Reach & Scalable Capability
From our base in South Wales, Hexigone has grown into a globally active organisation working with partners across multiple regions. Our streamlined operations support over 800 MT per year of inhibitor production — enabling reliable supply to both multinationals and smaller manufacturers alike.
Our distributor network strengthens this global reach, providing in-country expertise, localised technical support, and faster access to our technology for R&D teams worldwide.
