The British Coatings Federation (BCF) 2022 Awards were announced on Thursday 13th October, and Hexigone is delighted to share that we were winners of the ‘Sustainable Innovation - Suppliers’ category.

These awards showcase excellence in the coatings industry, and we are thrilled to receive recognition for our environmentally favorable anti-corrosives. This is a huge achievement, and we are up against some great companies: Berry Superfos, Organik Kimya and GDB International.

The Sustainable Innovation Award is presented to the company that has demonstrated commitment to the BCF Sustainability Policy through the launch of innovative and sustainable products, processes or services. Sustainability encompasses environmental, economic, and social responsibility in order to promote a healthy economy and environment. While the benefits of sustainability are clear, achieving sustainability can be a challenge.

We are proud to lessen the impact that corrosion has on the environment and this award demonstrates the progress that we continue to make. Additionally, we have recently been rated in the top 5% of companies assessed for sustainability in the manufacture of chemical products. The ‘Gold’ status was awarded by the industry’s most trusted sustainability ratings organisation - EcoVadis.

Ella Newington, Marketing Manager at Hexigone said:

“Sustainability is the driving force behind our technology and company ethos so we are honored to be recognized at the BCF 2022 Awards within this category. These awards showcase the best and brightest in the coatings industry, so a huge congrats to everyone who was shortlisted as well as who won!”
